Amphibian disease in the UK
- get identifying...

If you have found dead amphibian/s in your garden you can use this page to identify a possible culprit.
The information on these pages also exists in our Froglife Advice Sheet: Amphibian Health and Disease.

Have you come across dead amphibians?

1. "Yes, but I am not sure of the species"

2. "I have noticed deaths of..."

3. "I have looked at the pages, but I am still unclear as to what has caused my amphibians to die"

HELP OUT: During the summer months of 2008 Froglife is appealing for specimens of amphibians which have died for any reason - disease or otherwise.  If you are willing to help out (this will mean storing dead amphibians in your freezer) please get in touch for more information.
